"This book is a must-read for anyone who's ever thought about playing a poker tournament." --Ed Miller
Thinking Tournament Poker, Volume Two takes you through sixty-nine hands the author played on Day Two of the most prestigious poker tournament in the world. As in the first volume, these hands are accompanied by strategic commentary from a group of expert poker players, coaches, and authors. In this volume, there is an emphasis on blind-stealing, re-stealing, and bet sizing. There is also plenty of discussion of bet-sizing, continuation-betting, bluffing, bet sizing, preflop battles, and much more. You will encounter all these subjects as they actually arose for the author as he was playing for a sixty-million-dollar prize pool.
Nate brought back the same team of professional poker players, coaches, and authors to provide commentary. The result of their collaboration has been distilled into notes that players of all levels can use to improve their poker. Some of the discussion is particularly useful for $10,000-buyin, large-field, live tournaments, but much of it is applicable to all stakes and field sizes, and also to cash games. Thinking Tournament Poker reveals how professionals play with big money on the line, and it also shows you how to think about poker in order to improve your game.
Please note that these are only the hands from Day Two of the tournament. Hands from Day One are covered in the first volume of the series.

Thinking Tournament Poker Volume Two edition by Nate Meyvis Andrew Brokos Leo Wolpert Gareth Chantler Humor Entertainment eBooks Reviews
Fun quick read. Nice to be inside the head of thinking players much better at the game than me.
Once again Nate and the gang have put together a product that delivers simple to understand tournament strategy.
I like the hand-by-hand format of this book. The content is enjoyable and digestible. However, the length of the book is rather short and the writing style is stilted. I would have preferred other commentators to speak with their own voices rather than being reported second hand over and over.
Nate and co do a fantastic job breaking down their thought processes about the hands, even when the decision is seemingly "trivial". Not picking this up at this price is a clear mistake.
This a collection of hands and analysis similar to Volume One. Food for thought is its main virtue. Worth reading.
Great follow-up to Volume 1. Enjoyed the hand breakdowns and hearing all the guys discussing strategy after the fact. When doing a hand history review, It's easy to only want to discuss the biggest or most significant pots of the day. I find the learning experience enhanced tremendously when no VPIP'd hand gets left behind. As with Volume 1, I recommend highly.
Any content that Nate and Andrew produce, I consume, and Nate did not disappoint with volume 2. Well written and great strategy. You can not go wrong for $5! Today I picked up Andrews latest installment of Poker Diaries, and I recommend that for anyone who enjoyed Nate's Thinking Tournament Poker.
